The user search function is now very restrictive, a user search for 'crell' returns nothing, a user search for 'Crell'. At the moment drupalcores.com/companies is unable to find a lot of users.

Does it? Couldn't the search just return both accounts?

Yeah surely if there are two users crell and Crell it would just return them both.
That's how I would expect search to work.
