Look at WordPress Migrate (https://www.drupal.org/node/1593370 for documentation and https://www.drupal.org/project/wordpress_migrate for download).

Migrate to Drupal 7.

Good luck!

I was also interested in this type of migration. Has anyone done it and had a good experience with it?

I don't see that either of those websites have been moved to Drupal.

likely because it's just yet another in the 'convert from x to drupal' link spam nonsense we've been getting lately. User blocked, link spam removed.

Hi everyone!

I am new to this forum and I had a look around to find the best solution to import my wordpress sites to a new drupal installation. Thanx to the link of Wusel I have found a nice tutorial! Thanx so much and I hope that I will be happier with drupal, because wordpress got a bit on my nerves lately ;-)

Thanx for such a great forum!

About 18 months ago, I started two Wordpress sites (both are disclosed under my profile). I was absolutely new to building a website and never even heard of Joomla or Drupal. Just heard about Wordpress (took me a few days to even figure out the difference between WP.com versus WP.org) from a colleague so I started watching countless YouTube videos and finally got both sites up to functioning for their intended purposes. Took over 20 plug-ins. I am here to learn more about this software and may even move to Drupal even I get comfortable with it.
