Hi,

I have installed Drupal 7 on my computer. I have used MAMP, everything is alright until my site is created.
Then I become on the site to log in. I have used the username: root and password: root but I can't log in.

Can somebody help me? This is necessary for my education, I have to make a task.

What symptoms, indications, or behaviors are presented by your computer browser when this problem occurs? Do you get an error message?

Hi

There are no symptoms. I don't get any error.. I'm working with chrome I don't know if this is the reason of my problem?
I'm on the page to login and I just give my username en password but nothing changed..

So you entered your username and password.

Then, you clicked on the "Log in" command button, correct?

And, then Chrome did exactly nothing, so your user name and password are still visible, correct? The page did not change at all, correct? And further clicking on the Log in command button does nothing, so your user name and password are still visible, correct?

Can you see the MAMP "welcome" web page with your browser? Can you log into the MySQL database using phpMyAdmin?

If you can do the above without error, have you tried another browser?

Hi all!
Sorry, having the same problem. CAN log in with a browser other than Chrome, but cannot in Chrome. I fixed it one time, but did not document what I did and can't seem to find the answer again. Can anyone help???

Local install of D7.36, using MAMP (ports 8888, 7888, 8888).

Same problem here... Can log in with a browser other than Chrome, but cannot in Chrome (Version 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit))... Can also log in with Chromium (Version 55.0.2883.87 (64-bit)) in my Ubuntu virtual machine.

I already tried to clear chrome caches, navigate in private, truncate session table...

Please help ! =(

I've had this same issue before. Clear your browser (chrome) cache and cookies and refresh your page. Then try logging in again. It worked for me.

i have the same symptons, but cant log in any browser, clearing cache or trying incognito mode. Should i try something else?
