Regions with styles NOT printing out after module disabled (and uninstalled)

Nice module, but I wond up needing to go with a Panels custom template after all, so I wanted to apply the styling directly to my template file.

After the updates, I went to disable the module, and all regions with extra styling disappeared (confirmed by dpm($content)). This debug statement shows the regions are alive and well inside the panel admin area, but the regions are empty when the panel is rendered. The situation did not improve when the module was uninstalled.

I had to re-enable the module to bring my regions back.

I consider any data loss as critical.
