I'm trying to work out how to change the amount of trim applied to the title on posts that come from the Commons Browsing Widget. It's cutting titles to about 20 characters, which is too short for my site.
The functionality appears to be provided by the Title module but I can't find the settings anywhere. Is it set in code?
I understand the Commons wisdom of trim because what can be entered into the minified node creation form would be too long to display as title fields, but admins should some choice here.

How do you increase the Node teaser Title Character Length?

Time has come CreditAttribution: Time has come commentedThat resolves the mystery. I was searching for trim instead of truncate.
I hope this becomes a setting in the UI for the Browsing Widget so we don't have to override the function.
Thank you for pointing to the solution.
