Greetings,

I would like to display a category (Taxonomy term) in the main menu but rather than list all the products on that page, I would like to list the images for all the child terms and then once the user clicked on that child term image they then would go to the child term page listing all products associated with that child term.

For example, the parent term is "Manufacturers", the child terms are "Company 1, Company 2, Company 3, etc." When a user clicks on Manufacturers in the main menu, I would like for the "Manufactures" page to show the images (logos) for each respective child term (uploaded when the term was created) "Company 1, Company 2, Company 3, etc.". Once the user clicked on a company logo they then would see all the products associated with that company.

If anyone has any insight into this (if it is possible), I would appreciate it. I could always create a view displaying the company logos, but I would like to see if it is possible using taxonomy without creating a separate view.

Thanks in advance to any insight you can give on this.

Greetings,

I found that the best way to accomplish this was to use the Taxonomy Views Integrator (TVI) module. It allows for views to override the default taxonomy display (by term).

Another module that may be helpful is Taxonomy Display.

Hope this helps someone with a similar issue.
