#2155445: 403 Forbidden in Ubuntu Saucy saw 'Require all granted' added to the platform's conf file (commit b454c48), but this has broken 403 pages on Apache 2.2 (it logs "configuration error: couldn't perform authentication. AuthType not set!").

This is annoying as Debian stable still has Apache 2.2

The 6.x-2.x branch will go EOL along with Drupal this week. So I'm closing
this issue. If it remains a confirmed issue in 7.x-3.x, feel free to re-open,
or better yet, create a new issue referencing this one.
