Calendar Views

Hello All,

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm working with Calendar on Drupal 7.33 using the openoutreach profile. I've created a list of event types and I've been trying to create separate views for each event type. For example, one of the event types is "Conferences", and another is "Fun Days". How would I go about creating a calendar that shows just Conferences, and add it to the conferences page? I've been able to create a weekly view and apply a filter but it doesn't show the weekly view of Conferences. I searched online and wasn't able to find something specific to my need.
