I was unable to use the provided rules integration to access the created user in ldap_authentication_rules_event_info(). The attached patch uses the correct parameters to allow the variable to be used and adds a group title for better display, tested successfully against 2.0-beta8 and applies cleanly to 2.x-dev, too.
