First, I've not used this module before, but when I landed on the project page I realized it would meet a number of requirements in one or more of my projects...

It looks like a pretty comprehensive project, with commits as recently as 5 months ago, and even a D8 port... yet now has a status of 'unsupported' and 'no further development'.

So I'm just filing here seeking an explanation of the seemingly sudden drop-off? Maintainership challenges? Something else? Seems like a lot of good stuff here to let it slip into the nether regions of unsupported/unmaintained drupal code.

Thanks in advance for any insights that may be provided.

I would also be interested in knowing why this project suddenly changed to "Unsupported". I am using this module on most of my D6 and D7 sites and it works great.
