No preview displayed

Hello,

I have no preview in the views ui.
I click on 'create a new view'. After entering a title I want to select 'create a block'. Then I get the first issue, because the corresponding fieldset is not expanding. But that is not the problem. If I click 'continue & edit' I will enter the 'Displays' page. So far so good. But at the bottom I just have the 'Auto preview' checkbox and the 'Update preview' button and no preview. I can now select fields, filters and whatsoever, but I don't get any preview. I can click on the button and still no preview. I checked with Firebug what happens when I click the button, and there is no request called.
If I load this block in e.g. sidebar first, then I will see the correct behaviour, so the view by itself works.

The preview is enabled in the configuration.

I already tried to disable most of my modules, but that doesn't help. I don't have this issue with a clean Drupal installation, but that doesn't help me in this moment.

Are there any known solutions for this issue?

I would welcome every adivse.
