The functionality to reset a drupal.org password seems not to work as it requires you to enter your current password (which you have lost, hence the need to use the reset function).

The link Drupal sends you to reset your password logs you in fine, but when you go to set a new password, you cannot submit the form successfully..

Your current password is missing or incorrect; it's required to change the Password.

Thanks @2020media for reporting. This is a known bug and is being worked on here: #889772: following a password reset link while logged in leaves users unable to change their password
To reset your password, use the password reset tool at drupal.org/user/password but before you click the one-time login link, go to Drupal.org and confirm the middle tab says "Log In / Register". Do this and you won't be asked for current password.
