Hide If empty for Doc format

Hello,

I'm generating an doc file with this module and I need to hide empty columns. I've chosen the option "hide if empty" in Field settings of my block view, but the column still appears.
I tried patch given at comment #8 but i think this patch is only for XML styles.

Is there any solution?
