Missing Body field for anonymous users

Wondering if anyone has some tips for this issue, that's been giving me a headache.
Honestly, I suspect it is another issue on our site causing a conflict, but I thought perhaps I'de check here just in case.

What I'm doing:

- Using Views Slideshow to display a number of pieces of content
- it's a block for a panel
- Several content types
- 3 fields: image, title, body
- no permission restrictions on the view, content types, or panel

The issue:

- The view works fine when logged in. All displays as it should.
- Anon users can only see the image and title
- The body field doesn't show at all, and the title is shifted in position
- The body field does not show up in the html at all (ie. not hidden because of styling)

My assumption was that this is a permissions issue causing some sort of conflict.
Though I think I've ruled that out.

Any ideas?
