Since updating to 7.32 The back-end of drupal is showing logged in authors as anonymous (not verified).
Any idea what could be causing this?
I do not have a captcha on the login page.

To start diagnosing, I would
Note that if you log in, then visit a page, depending on various settings in your headers etc. it quite often happens that your browser reloads a copy of the same page which you visited when logged out. Therefore, reload the page before posting, and check to ensure you are really seeing a logged in version of the page you are testing, and not an anonymous copy of the page from your browser cache.
If that is not the issue, to start diagnosing, I would look at the uid column in the comments table in the database and check it is getting set. If you have any anti-spam module, I would test with it disabled.
