Hello,

I just updated Field Collection module to the beta 8 version and noticed it added field_collection.theme.css. This made my theme look differently, adding borders and margins where I didn't intend them. I simply deleted the file and my theme is back to normal.

What is the point of this css file, why was it added, is it wrong to delete it?

This was created as field_collection_view.css in 2010 with the explanation "added some basic css to improve the default look" and renamed to field_collection.theme.css in 2011 for #1249894: Aggressive CSS . It was in beta7 and probably every beta since at least beta3.

It'd be better to override the rules you don't like so you don't have to worry about it when you upgrade but deleting it won't ruin anything.
