I am trying to make a two autonomous columns home page, where people can select from the left, the article (Content title) they want to read, and it is shown in the right column with out refreshing all the page.

Left column should also has an independent scroll bar. So people can read the content on the right column without altering the content of left column. Just like this:

Which part of this are you having troubles with? And just to confirm, you are looking for a way to create this through code, not through a module, correct?

Thank you! I would prefed through modules, which I think can be much easier for me, since I am not very saby though, I am using views, panels and a theme like Omega. I suppose it is not to difficult, I would like to reach the results by having the two columns of the case separated but bounded just as in the example URL.
