I am getting the following error: Warning: Creating default object from empty value in theme556_preprocess_html() (line 31 of /home/justinhartman/hartmanshaven.org/sites/all/themes/theme556/template.php).

However, I have been unable to find a patch or anything from template-help.com / templatemonster.com and not sure what I should add/delete to the PHP file.

I can't really say why it is happening but I see that the message is appearing on your site. Usually on a production site I go to the configuration, logging and errors and select none so visitors will not have to see the Warning. Support for a purchased theme should be sought out from the vendor. However, it may aid to pastebin.com the entirety of the preprocess function throwing the error.

They will not help or support any issues due to as us being a non-profit I requested them to offer the theme as a sponsorship agreement. Thank you for your reply, I do appreciate it.
