User content being replaced with jargon when pulled from database [#2358791]

Hi all, not sure what is causing this - I will try to explain:

I have the module set up correctly and from a UX view it is working perfectly. However when i check the results, letters are being replaced in the database by random letters and numbers.

e.g.
--USER INPUT: Field 1--
Name: johnny
Relationship: brother
School: school name
Subjects: mathematics

--DATABASE/RESULTS: Field 1--
Name: lohnny
Relationship: crother
School: +chool name
Subjects: Vathematics

Webform 7.x-3.20
I have tested on both Webform Add More 7.x-1.2 and 7.x-1.x-dev and same issue.

If I can provide more information please let me know. Everything is perfect and this module really suits my needs so would really appreciate some help.

UPDATE: I have looked into this more at my side, I have downloaded an excel copy of the database and the results are being saved correctly to the databse.

- The issue is now that when the webform sends an email of the submission & if I view the submission by clicking the results tab, the first letter is then being replaced by jargon.
