This was fixed long ago. Try the -dev snapshot, it already detects this version and compensates for a lot of other differences in CKeditor 4.

Btw, I can't apply your patch with any of the tools I tried. Please see Making a Drupal patch with git.

@TwoD - I am not convinced it is fixed. I am using the 7.x-2.2+54-dev version and have had problems with the blanking of body content in the Full HTML window. Now I've the -dev version, downloaded the full version of CKEditor, as per instructions, and still have error messages.

On top of that, the plugin is evidently not reading paths correctly, for example the TinyMCE paths are different to the plugin's. I've not checked others, but this does not inspire confidence.
