Outline:none property breaks when using jQuery 1.7

After updating jquery from 1.5 to 1.7 I noticed that the accordion plugin is showing ugly outlines after a user clicks an item (see attached picture). Shouldn't this be working out of the box?

I'm trying to find a css workaround to re-enable the "outline: none" property. Any ideas on what css selector I should apply this to?
