Lets remove the plus beside each item on the blocks page. It gives the false impression that you can drag and drop it.

yoroy CreditAttribution: yoroy commentedThanks for opening this issue, I agree these suggest draggability and since they can't be dragged as such, we should remove them.

tim.plunkettI think http://png-1.findicons.com/files/icons/2232/wireframe_mono/48/cursor_dra... indicates dragability, not a plus. That means "add" to me, in more ways than one.

Issue #2058321 by tim.plunkett, pameeela: Move the 'place block' UI into the block listing.
Which even though it's a 'move' appears to have added this CSS rule... which is odd, but presumably there were reasons give on that issue?

tim.plunkett#2058321: Move the 'place block' UI into the block listing was worked from @tkoleary's designs, and signed off on by @Bojhan.

Bojhan CreditAttribution: Bojhan commentedThe original intend was to have drag and drop, sadly none of the blocks UI ideas ever made it very far. This UI was intended to be a stop-gap, sadly its now the solution we will launch D8 with.
I think its better without the +, I understand that some might find it appropriate and consider our drag and drop icon to be the only indicator. I feel new users might not be so familair with our iconography and could mistake this for a drag and drop indicator. This is not just the icon, but also its place (in front of a item), the fact that its duplicated a lot, and the placement in the sidebar which makes it appear drag and droppy.
Works well! Feel free to RTBC.
