When upgraded Flexslider library from 2.2.0 to 2.2.2 strange overlay started to appear on image when clicking on it. The same on all browsers, all devices. It may be some css/js glitch

Update: can confirm the same strange behavior on all versions form 2.2.1 to 2.3.0 bleeding. If I download 2.2.0 from archive the problem is gone

Not enough info to reproduce, and moreso, seems outside the scope of the module itself. If I understand correctly, this is a problem with Flexislider, not the Drupal module that makes it easy to plug-n-play.

I think the bug should be reported here: https://github.com/woothemes/FlexSlider/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue

However, if this is exclusive to the Drupal felislider module, perhaps you just need to share more info so this can be reproduced. For example: screenshots of the problem? (strange overlay is a bit ambiguous). What type of setup are you using (views or fields)? How is your flexislider optionset configured?

UPDATE: It seems Drupal module + Firefox problem, using latest Windows FF. On Chrome (SW-Iron) it looks ok, butalso not ok on some mobile browsers, because I cannot see the same problem on other sites. The easy way to reproduce are to install Drupal module as usual but use any version from 2.2.1 and up.

I am using Bootstrap 3.0 stable subtheme. Attached screenshots of it. The overlay looks like the the clicked image is selected.

UPDATE2: It seems like the Flexslider problem... Looked for more examples on the web - they are acting the same with FF.

Thanks for the update, still sounds like a flexslider issue, not a problem with the module. I'm changing to module "works as designed" ... please re-open with more details if you think I'm incorrect.

I appreciate you taking the time to provide more information. But I'm unclear on the versions of FF or Windown related to this problem. I'm on Linux and not sure what version of FF is the latest on Windows. Plus, in six months, the latest version of Firefox and Windows will both be different -- which isn't helpful to anyone with this problem in the future.

Also, thanks for taking the time to capture and upload screenshots, but I'm still not sure what I'm looking at? I'm assuming the "problem" is the "translucent blue" -- shown in the large picture on cpature1 and the "blue" on the thumbnail on capture2. Or is that a hover/design effect? Or is there something else I'm missing? (seems odd to me that it seems intermittent ... and why I find it uncler)

Also is the problem independent of browser events (such as when you hover/interact with slider)?

Best of Luck! (and good to know there's a problem related to Windows and FF -- a combo I don't usually test very heavily ... I'll likely need to test a site or two)

To stay short: yes, all Flexslider slideshows on mine FF Windows 7 Ultimate 64 SP1 looks with that blue overlay. It looks exactly the same as if you select with cursor some of the any webpage content with picture in it. When clicking on Flexslider slideshow pictures are "selected" somehow.
Just checked it on Chrome and IE - it is ok. Other slideshows with similar functionality - ok.
One another thought came, that the cause may be some FF plugin, will try on another Win machine as it is hard to believe nobody noticed this.

Update: On fresh Firefox is the same on my pc. Please, someone confirm this or deny, as now it seems huge bug.
