Thу Advanced forum looks good only in Firefox&Opera.
In IE th & td.container become white and there is a black background under the forum icons.

Works fine on IE 7. Patches accepted for IE 6 but I don't have time to deal with its bugs myself.

the problem is that IE6 and older can not display PNG-transparency. (Only on 8bit-PNG files)

there are multiple solutions:
- save the icon as 8bit-png (which is same as gif)
- save the icon as gif, and adapt the css-file
- paint the background in the color of the theme.
- don't use IE at all. ;)
