Not sure if this belongs in the Commons queue, but just to get some feedback on what exactly may cause this, I file it here first.

The LoginLink send button simply does not appear in the default Commons theme. Is that also an issue with Panels, perhaps? Any way to make the display of that button theme-agnostic?

I have tried to manually put the user:one-time-login-url token into the bottom pane of cTools on the user page in Commons, both with and without ticking "Sanitize URL", but it does not help to show button or link at all. Also emptied cache etc. to no avail.

Actually, I wish this link/button would show up on its own URL, ie. /user/*/lot (customizeable last part would be very nice, or security reasons), not on the main user page. Maybe that would solve issues like this, in case it has something to do with cTools variants of the user page.

Title: Drupal Comons does not show the Login One Time button » Drupal Commons does not show the Login One Time button

(and it has nothing to do with permissions, they are set for the role I am using)

Update; with the new Drupal Commons release (7.x-3.23, which includes the newly updated Drupal core 7.35), and the new 2.9 release of Login_One_Time - this is still a problem.

For debugging:

Users that has permission to send links can see the send button only on the BLOCK, not on the main area of the profile page, which is possibly ok, but; users that are not allowed to see the block (not allowed to use the drop-down to select users), they should only see a button on the main profile area of the user whose profile page they are currently watching. For those users, the button does not appear, and since they are not allowed to use the block, that other block button is not available to them.

Hi Leeteq,

In Drupal commons, user profile pages has been overridden by panel layout.

So you can customize the panel and add user entity to that panel. Also you can customize field to be shown in the manage display page.

Thanks,
