It would be nice if JW Player module could pull streams from media servers, like Wowza or FMS. So if it could be applied to a Text field as formatter, where the text field contains the URL of the stream (e.g. rtmp://my.media:1935/live/stream), it would be perfect.

The refactor theming patch, when committed, will allow for URLs and text fields to be formatted as players, and also for creating custom players that include streaming options.
