Is there a way to upload Shapefile that was created by GIS Software (ArcMap). I'm new to this and would appreciate help.

Hi,

Cartaro allows to import many different spatial file formats, also zipped Shapefiles. You only need to install the PHP GDAL extension. Have a look at the GDAL module documentation for details on how to install and use it: https://www.drupal.org/node/2133101

GDAL is installed on my localhost (Windows) as I tested it as per http://cartometric.com/blog/2011/10/17/install-gdal-on-windows/ (under - Confirming a Successful GDAL Installation)

Also, GDAL geodata module is installed which comes default with Cartaro. But, I didn't find a way to import spatial file formart within drupal. Is there something I'm missing. Cartaro documentation is not elaborated, i think.

Right now Windows ist not really supported by Cartaro. Please install Cartaro on a (virutal) Linux machine and build the PHP GDAL extension as documented here: https://www.drupal.org/node/2133103
