Deleting your account

Last updated on
27 February 2017

We hope you will never want to do this. However, if you have decided you want to delete your account, you can do so by editing your account and clicking the 'Delete account' link at the bottom of the page.

We will send you a confirmation email, with a URL to delete your account. You can click the URL in the email or copy and paste it into your browser's address bar. Once you've done so, your account will be deleted.

Please note:

  1. Once your account has been deleted, it CAN NOT be restored.
  2. You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion all private and personally identifying information will be removed from Drupal.org servers.
  3. You only need to delete your account on Drupal.org. Your accounts on all *.Drupal.org sub-sites will be deleted automatically.
  4. Any public content you have created before deleting your account, such as issues, forum posts, projects, documentation, etc. will not be deleted. You will no longer be the author of the content, it will be attributed to ‘Anonymous’ user.

If you cannot log into your account or if you need support with account deletion, send an email to help@drupal.org.
