I have 4 fields on my form: first name, last name, company name, and the Constant Contact email field. The email field is setup to work with Contact Lists and the other three fields are mapped to Constant Contact. Everything works great (thank you!) EXCEPT the Company Name field gets mapped twice.

Now what I mean is, when the form is submitted a new subscriber is created with all the right info in Constant Contact. But in addition to that correct subscriber, a second subscriber is created but with only the info from the Company Name field. I end up with two subscribers, one that is correct and one that is completely blank except for the Company Name field.

I was thinking it might be because Company Name is not mandatory and all the other fields are but I haven't tested it yet. Anyway, just wanted to give a heads up and see if anyone else has had this problem.

I tried making the Company Name field mandatory too but no dice; still getting two subscribers.

This is a project for a client and I don't use Constant Contact extensively; is what I'm getting possibly a feature of Constant Contact? Does Constant Contact store an empty contact for each Company?

EDIT: I think I was right. I subscribed twice with the same company name and got both subscribers but only one entry for the company. I also looked at the "company" subscriber and it looks like it's stored in Constant Contact differently. I'll close this issue as it's a non-issue. Thanks!
