I would like to drupal as a shop. However, I would like to change the basic scaffolding for my purposes.

One should things can shop for free. In shopping cart all the products to be displayed, and alternatives to the product should also be displayed by clicking.

This is not possible?

you've two options. The commerce.module or the ubercart.module
