I installed and set up a Cartaro site and have been playing with maps, but had not tried using the OpenLayers Editor until now. When I check the box to use the editor in a map's 'Behaviors' tab I get the message: "OpenLayers Editor version check failed. Please review the OpenLayers Editor settings". I did get the editor to show up, but don't seem to be able to actually change/edit anything. For instance, if I select the tool to add a point, it just keeps moving around with the cursor and I can't drop in on the map. I'm not sure if this is because of the version error* or just that I'm doing it wrong, but if I use the OpenLayers 'draw features' behavior, its functions for drawing/moving points and polygons work as expected.

*When I tried to review the editor settings as the error message instructs, all I see is:
"OpenLayers Editor source variant
Original
Debug
The OpenLayers Editor library has different variants. Select the one you prefer for your installation."

Editor version is 7.x-1.0

Thanks for responses on this and other issues and sorry to be such a pain, I'm really looking forward to building some awesome maps with Cartaro if I can only get past these hurdles!

Hi agerard,

finally I had time to look into this. The OpenLayers Editor version check isn't used anymore and the remaining message has been removed now (http://cgit.drupalcode.org/ole/commit/?id=88c437a).

The OpenLayers Editor should still work, just like here: http://demo.cartaro.org/

Otherwise please open the browser developer tools and report any JavaScript errors shown in the console output.
