In relation to the rewrite of the date_get_timezone_db function (see https://www.drupal.org/node/998076 ), I'm posting a patch to fix the calls to date_get_timezone_db in date_ical.

I'm not sure this is necessarily a good idea. Wouldn't this code be incorrect for people who are still using Date 2.7? Perhaps adding some kind of detection for the Date version would make sense?

We have the timezone issue and the patch does not seem to work properly.
