I downloaded rc4 this afternoon and also downloaded TinyMCE 3.5.11 for the wysiwyg editor. I have enabled TinyMCE as the editor for
- Filtered HTML
- Full HTML
- Plain text
But when I go to create any content with a text field and change the text format to any of the options above I don't get a toolbar.
All actions are carried out by admin level user on the site
I also (but can't find the page now) added buttons to the toolbars to be displayed for filtered, full & plain formats but I know its something obvious I'm missing. Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

hefox CreditAttribution: hefox commentedHm, I don't know of anything in openpublic that would be messing that. Check for javascript errors?
Formatted Textarea, area, right, not textfield?

mobcdi CreditAttribution: mobcdi commentedI'll have to hold my hand up and say I'm a bit drupal rusty so to keep it simple why don't we stick with the openrublic document content type and the Body field of type Long text and summary. When I go to add new content no matter which text format I pick I don't get the text editor. Attached is my view as admin when adding a new document but its the same for me with other content types in rc4
I also tried creating my own content type and added a text field but that doesn't display the toolbar editor either

mobcdi CreditAttribution: mobcdi commentedCan't say I've solved it but its so close if I log out and visit the site as an un-authenticated user the comments field on nodes shows the wysiwyg editor but still no toolbar for the admin user editing or creating the nodes themselves or adding comments

hefox CreditAttribution: hefox commentedTry a generic install and see if can get wysiwyg enabled? If can't, then not openpublic. If can, then try enabling the openpublic modules and see when if it breaks?
mobcdi CreditAttribution: mobcdi commentedThe problem is the wysiwyg editor is now showing for unauthenticated users which indicates the problem is within Open public (or more correctly the admin of same), if i log in as admin the editor is not shown

hefox CreditAttribution: hefox commentedTry changing admin themes?
mobcdi CreditAttribution: mobcdi commentedNo such luck, changing the admin theme didn't bring the editor out of hiding
In admin/config/content/wysiwyg/profile/I enabled the option in filtered HTML (TinyMCE Profile) for users to choose their own editor default state in their user account settings and following that Text formats enabled for rich-text editing "Filtered HTML" is enabled for the admin user.
I have no proof but I suspect its a permissions issue somewhere
