Hi,

after several tries I am stuck in upgrading my existence installation. I have disable or non core modules and I had luck updating everything until the last 9 pending updates which I am stuck now.
I am upgrading from 6.33 to 7.31 and update.php shows the following error:

The following updates returned messages

node module

Update #7006
Failed: DatabaseSchemaObjectExistsException: Table field_data_body already exists. in DatabaseSchema->createTable() (line 657 of site.com/includes/database/schema.inc).

If I restart the process the same 9 pending updates are available

node module

7006 - Convert body and teaser from node properties to fields, and migrate statuscommentpromote and sticky columns to the {node_revision} table.
7007 - Remove column min_word_count.
7008 - Split the 'administer nodes' permission from 'access content overview'.
7009 - Convert node languages from the empty string to LANGUAGE_NONE.
7010 - Add the {block_node_type} table.
7011 - Update the database from Drupal 6 to match the schema.
7012 - Switches body fields to untranslatable while upgrading from D6 and makes them language neutral.
7013 - Change {node}.vid default value from 0 to NULL to avoid deadlock issues on MySQL.
7014 - Add an index on {node}.language.

Can somebody advice me, I am fairly new to drupal and have to migrate the website to the latest version. All modules are up to date, by the way and the theme I used before migration is garland.

Thanks

Did you sort it out?

I am fairly new to drupal and have to migrate the website to the latest version.

You should be aware the major version upgrades are notoriously difficult, and that most experienced Drupallers do not attempt it but instead build a new site and migrate content. There is usually a whole string of bugs to sort out. I advise to take a step back and ask why you need to take on this thankless and often pointless task. If it is because you are being paid for it, well it is possible provided the client is prepared to pay for your time. Sometimes clients with experience of other systems are surprised how expensive it gets. The last one I did was a week's work, and the site was not very large.
