Dear friends,

I'm rebuilding our organization's news portal website using drupal and looking for a top-secure drupal hosting service provider. Our previous website has been hacked several times and caused long system downtime. I believe those hacking was done by some professional hackers. Could you please recommend me a hosting provider that meets the following standards:

1. very high security level and patches and monitors the systems regularly
2. be able to provide disaster recovery mechanism through real-time sync-up and failover, so that the website downtime could be minimized
3. allow me to install various modules/extensions, which are part of my website
4. has excellent technical support staff and services

Our news portal has approximately 200,000 - 300,000 page views every month.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Kind Regards,
Brian

You didn't really give any hints about whether it was a server process that was exploited on your site previously or a Drupal-based issue, but what you're saying lends to "managed" hosting. Even with managed hosting, they're going to manage the server systems, backups and redundancy - you're still ultimately responsible for making sure you promptly install Drupal core and contributed modules to avoid being exploited. The management part of managed hosting comes at a premium, so if you're used to shared hosting prices, you'll have to brace yourself for some sticker shock.

It sounds like the standard Managed Hosting list at https://www.drupal.org/hosting/enterprise is a good place to start.

Security on Drupal code site is not enough. www.redy.host provides real server security, including good WAF, spam protection, security monitoring and alerting. Even virtual patches for Drupal vulnerabilities are included (you don't patch your websites immediately, do you?)
