Creating node partial form for custom content type in views header

Hi,

I'm using drupal commons, I created I view for a custom content type and in the view header I wanted to put a node partial form for my content type, but its look like node partial form are only available for content related to Organic Group . My content type is neither a group type nor attached to a group content.What I want to achieve is simplistic form for user to publish content. What are my options here? How to get a partial form for my custom content type?
