Hello,

My name is Leslie. My website is both content and ecommerce driven. I am considering to use drupal to update my website. Is seems to be a great cms.

Now I heard that drupal has a new shopping cart. HOW great is that!?!

Where can I demo the new drupal shopping cart?

Any and all info would be gratefully accepted.

Yours In Health & Sustainability,
Leslie Gabriel

Check out the home of the ecommerce module for information about it.

Thanks,

But I was looking to demo the ecommerce module.

Anywhere?

Let me know - anyone?

sign up and take the survey and you'll get some money credited to your account which you can use to make a purchase.

I should point out that the version of ecommerce running on my site has been customized by Mathias.

Put your money where your mouth is!

There is a new Drupal Shopping Cart out there called Ubercart. You can demo it at the Ubercart demo.

I've been testing it out and I think it's superb!

I'm not affiliated with ubercart or the ubercart dev team. I was just looking for a drupal based ecommerce solution last week, and at a first glance, ubercart was cleaner and easier to use than drupal ecommerce module.

only it requires a boat load of modules and functions makes me dizzy, need a more simpler shop module,

Boat load? Dizzy? I think that's a bit of an exaggeration... for posterity's sake, Ubercart 1.0 requires 4 module dependencies with support for a few other modules to provide out of the box image support and Google Analytics integration. These have been clearly mentioned on the project page and installation instructions with links to appropriate versions for some time now. : )

Ubercart core itself is a simple group of four modules that must be enabled with a clear REQUIRED tag by them on the modules table. These are also clearly mentioned in the installation instructions.

I can only surmise that you bypassed the documentation.

If the process is daunting to you, there's even an automatic installer that takes care of all of the above and more.

Sorry, just couldn't let this one sit indefinitely with no response. We are still looking to simplify things in the future, though... Our plans for Ubercart 2.0 include removing 3 of the 4 dependencies in response to comments like this.
