I installed this module the other day, and it worked great. Then my site was hacked last night and I had to restore it all from a backup.
Today when I installed the module, it absolutely refused to find the WordPress Standalone Player located in /sites/all/libraries/audio-player

Since it refused to find the player, I could not enable the module.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what's different. I even installed the copy I had just downloaded before my site went down (which may or may not have been the same build as is out today, that version was what I downloaded on 7-19).

I finally gave up and installed 6.x-1.1 again. That one's working perfectly.

Remember 6.x-1.1 is not supported as it has a horrible security flaw. I am sorry that you are having issues, but have you downloaded the audio-player into the proper folder? It is not included with the module.

Version: 6.x-2.x-dev » 7.x-2.x-dev

Experiencing the same issue here (after successfully enabling the module):

Warning: file_get_contents(sites/all/libraries/audio-player/audio-player.js): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in drupal_build_js_cache() (line 4950 of /mypath/includes/common.inc).
audio-player.js or player.swf were not found in /sites/all/libraries/audio-player, download the standalone WordPress Audio Player.

Both files are sitting in /sites/all/libraries/audio-player/assets. Do I need to relocate them to the parent folder? Edit: Argh, yes, I do. Appears to be working now.
