I am a phd student focus on automated testing of complex systems and I selected the Drupal system as a case study. In this sense, I need to know the number of downloads and reported installs for Drupal 7.23. I found this page: https://www.drupal.org/project/usage/2060023 where I can see the usage statistics for Drupal 7.23, this is, the reported installs. Could someone help me to know the number of downloads?

Thanks in advance,

Please look at https://www.drupal.org/drupal-7.28. 7.23 is an very old version.

Download only the newest version of drupal! At the moment it is version 7.28!

The installed-usage stats are gathered from the update process. They are incomplete (major sites typically turn it off) but they are a good indication of relative popularity of a component. Downloads aren't tracked -- they would be logged by the server, of course, assuming the server logs anything at all, but they are not reported on d.o.

Thanks for your answers.
@yelvington thanks for the information. I did not found any data related with the downloads of Drupal core, but I was not sure if that information was available.
