This might be related to https://www.drupal.org/node/1724080.

I had a forum thread with 5 posts (including the node). #3 and #4 were duplicate posts, so I was about to delete #4. Before deleting, I always check downstream to see if any posts are in reply to the one I'm deleting. In this case, there was only one additional post, and it said "Reply to #5", even though it was #5 (hence the link to the above issue).

I proceeded to delete #4, but when the thread was shown again, #5 had also been deleted. I have not tried to delete any others.

This was the first delete I had done after updating to Drupal 7.28 and AdvForum 2.4 yesterday. I have deleted posts like this many times before without any problems.

This is, most likely, a non-issue.

I finally realized that, because of the misnumbering of "reply to" links, #5 showing "Reply to #5" was masking the fact that it probably was in reply to #4, which was the one I deleted. So #5 being deleted was the proper behavior.

I'll close this and re-open it if I find that it really is an issue.
