I updated my nonprofit's website with the latest version of OO, and now the newest items in the "front page top stories" panel are not appearing correctly. Two new items were posted June 29, before the update, and they appeared fine. I updated the site, and when 2 new items of the same content type were created on July 6, the later ones do not replace the older ones. I have made no changes to the panel, or the content types that appear in it. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Have you ensured that the items are promoted?

I have made sure the items are promoted.
As a temporary fix, it helped to make them sticky at the top of lists.

I am closing this issue as the problem has suddenly resolved itself, and I cannot tell why.
