Hi there

I've now posted 2 questions to this forum (http://drupal.org/node/229017 and http://drupal.org/node/212383).

I've checked the tone of my writing and gone over and over the questions themselves to try and determine whether they're just too stupid for anyone to bother responding to - and at least I don't think they are???

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding strategies to get responses to questions on this forum? I see questions getting tons of responses after the first minute they've been posted - one of my questions is now nearly 6 weeks old and still no response - not even a "please don't bother us with this rubbish" - even that would be something!!! Anything would be something!!!!!!

Now it's time for you to all take the piss and leave this post commentless.

Haha very funny :)

I'm guessing its because your questions is Drupal 6 related. Right now I just ignore anything having to do with Drupal 6 because I haven't upgraded yet (so I can't answer any questions about it).. most of the modules don't work in it yet so unless you're into developing Drupal its probably best to go back to Drupal 5 for now as thats what nearly everyone is using still.

The problem you are faced with is that there aren't many people that have forged forward with Drupal 6 yet. That said, support is limited because many of us are waiting to upgrade from 5.x until the contrib modules we are dependant on are updated to Drupal 6.

Thanks for the responses and advice.

I was smitten by some of the GUI improvements to 6.x - but losing them will be a small price to pay for the extra modules and support.

Cheers
