Unable to set published or add menu link options when Colorbox is active

After adding a lot (61 the last time I tried) of images using Colorbox to a Basic Page, Colorbox "corrupts" the edit form. While Colorbox is active, it is not possible to set the "Page Published", "Create menu link" and other settings. You can enable them, but they are not saved.
If I disable the Colorbox plugin, save the page with these settings enabled, they are saved. But when saving the page again with Colorbox enabled, the settings are cleared.

I had this issue with Colorbox 7.x-2.6 and also on the current dev version. (16 june)
I'm running the currently latest Drupal 7 version.

I'm running Colorbox together with Insert 7.x-1.3.
Running jQuery 1.5.2 and jQuery UI 1.8.7, on PHP 5.3.27. I tried running the cron and clearing the caches: didn't help.
