Hi Guys

I am planning to start something on web i saw drupal can save lot of my time, it's open source and free. I do not wana make changes to software core or develop anything into its programming, i do not have such vast knowledge of it but i just wana make simple commercial website.
So i checked few websites which are on first page of Drupal "Sites made with drupal" they are looking great but all i browsed i could did not see Drupal logo or link back to Drupal site. That is my only question now if drupal logo and links are necessary/required by term then why many people removed those things and if its legal please let me know.

Thanks a lot.

Drupal does not require you to have a link back to the Drupal website or to give attribution.

When you first install Drupal, you'll find a block in the footer that contains a "powered by Drupal" link. You're perfectly entitled to remove that altogether, or to change it and make it more prominent if you wish.

If you'd like to keep that link there, that's one small way to give something back to the Drupal community who collectively build the software that powers your new site. But there's nothing compelling you to do so.
