Hi

I'm considering using Drupal for a project, but the site is pretty big. We're talking 500,000+ visitors per day, thousands of products across hundreds of categories, lots of product types, updated all the time.

Does anybody have any examples, e.g. if Wall Mart or Barnes & Noble used Drupal, those would be great examples.

I'm looking for sites which (a) have huge volumes of users (b) huge amounts of content and varied (c) complex customer journeys.

Thoughts?

There are a ton of large scale Drupal sites.

White House
Twitter
Fox News Magazine
The Economist
Forbes

Twitter's developer site uses Drupal, but not Twitter itself.

Thanks to everyone who has replied. Most of these sites are effectively media related. Are there any huge sites which use Drupal which are more retail related?

Hi Stew,

We're in a similar situation where we're preparing to build a commerce site that receives millions of page views per month. We used to use an older Drupal commerce platform called ubercart in the past for ecomm site builds, but now the standard has shifted to either Magento or Drupal Commerce. I'd recommend that you check out the showcase on the Commerece Guys website here http://www.drupalcommerce.org/showcase

Cheers,

Alex
