When using with DC KS2, there is a major issue with the Product Display node creation.

Everything looks ok......... the process is confirmed, the message states the product display is created. However, it is not shown in the admin.

Quick checklist:

  • All the BPC modules are activated
  • Product display node is not shown in either the 'Manage Products' or regular Content list
  • The Variations were added but with no link to the Product Display
  • The standard message confirming add was shown after clicking Save on the Product Display form

By the looks of things though this module is not updated or maintained anymore.

-----------
I really think Drupal could do with a 'Module Outdated' category or tag that would warn developers / admins not to use unless prepared for the inevitable issues. It might even encourage other developers to create their own module when they realise the other is outdated.

Even better would be an 'Outdated / unmaintained' field that could be added to the 'Available Updates' in the admin to warn site admins that the use of the module should stop.

Sorry for the negativity here, I just think this is one of those modules that many users, who started to depend on this module, may find were better off if they hadn't had in the first place (because other solutions would have been put in place). This is also another area where Commerce may suffer because of their base framework only approach (and therefore being partly dependent on the updating of 3rd party modules).
