Have you tried googling "Warning : file_put_contents failed to open stream" ? That search led me to https://drupal.org/node/1076762 which may be helpful.

You need to properly set permissions for your sites/default/files directory. Try doing a plain Drupal installation first until you get the hang of that before trying Open Atrium.

Also, in issue queue you only assign an issue to somebody working on a patch for a bug. You don't need to assign it to yourself (unless you plan to fix it :)

I suppose this is fixed, please reopen if not.

I had this errors too when installing ERPAL Service Provider 7.x-2.3 with local machine xampp, and also broken theme appears. Also when i finished install, erpal did running but the broken theme didnt disappear.

Hi noorikhsan,i have the same error in ERPAL 7.x-2.3
Warning: file_put_contents(temporary://fil422C.tmp): failed to open stream: "DrupalTemporaryStreamWrapper::stream_open" call failed in file_unmanaged_save_data() (line 1936 of C:\xampp\htdocs\erpal7\includes\file.inc).
The file could not be created.
Fix:Just created a new folder "tmp" in erpal installation root path and it worked and also check the erpal Temporary directory path here: admin/config/media/file-system
