I think token module should be a requirement for Media module 7.x-2.x because I lost two days of work trying to figure out which was the reason why title and alt text weren't printed out although I setted both fields with Media enabled. This is my configuration:

Drupal 7.28 clean install
Media 7.x-2.0-alpha1
File Entity 7.x-2.0-alpha3
Views 7.x-3.7
Ctools 7.x-1.4

I found out by chance that by activating token module both fields gets printed out for all of my images fields.
