Sorry if this is a duplicate - I've looked, but haven't found the same complaint.

When Adding field collections with a maximum number, it displays fields for each one, instead of the usual 'add another' button. Would it be possible to add this feature? This would make it a lot easier for users!

This is the usual behavior for fields that have limited cardinality. I tested this by creating a text field with cardinality 5 and on the node add form there are 5 instances of the field and no add another button. The add another button only appears for fields with unlimited cardinality.
