Hi, I'm just curious is Aegir support diskspace & bandwidth quota per site ? And if possible also monitoring them ?

I'm currently use Barracuda + Octopus and badly need solution. Thank you.

https://www.drupal.org/project/hosting_probes might be an option to implement monitoring for such stats. I'm not sure how we would implement quotas based on that.

Feature requests should be against 7.x-3.x. Marking as postponed, since I don't believe anyone is working on this at the moment.

As far as monitoring goes, the documentation says:

Statistics Queue

This queue operates on the same mechanism as the cron queue, and alows you to retrieve statistics of your installed sites. This will retrieve such metrics as number of registered and active users, and number of posts / comments, which will then be viewable on the front end.

However, I can find no evidence of this in the Web UI, and the only evidence of this in the code is a single line comment in provision.drush.inc:

stats - Return an associated array of site statistics. (implemented in provision_stats module, is thus optional)

However, I can't find a reference to provision_stats anywhere.

I did find Aegir Statistics and Hosting Diagnostics, but the former is D6 only while the latter runs on the client sites themselves which isn't ideal.

Is Hosting Probes the ideal way forward, assuming there's actually nothing in Aegir core?

I wanted to make Hosting Probes mostly for this reason, although I didn't think about quotas much. I'm sure it could be added somehow.

You don't really need to get into the site's DB to get the disk space or bandwidth though, so it's a bit different. I'm in favor of adding this to Hosting Probes for the sake of simplicity, or the other way around (if someone makes this we could merge Hosting Probes into it).
